Who is behind Pointfulness?
Alain Kaczorowski was born in Belgium in 1965 and trained as a Business and Management Engineer at the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain), combining from an early stage an interest in the humanities with an interest in applied sciences.
Based in Chile since 1989, he developed an independent professional activity over several decades in the fields of architectural glass and international trade. This path allowed him to observe closely the economic, organisational, and human realities of our time.
He serves as director and president (2014-2026) of the Chilean Belgian-luxembourgish Chamber of Commerce in Santiago de Chile.
Through decisive personal and professional experiences, he undertook a rational philosophical reflection, free from beliefs and revelations, oriented exclusively towards clarity.
In 2015, he published Singular Life and the Triangle of Illusions (Ediciones Legatum, Chile), the synthesis of a search that continues to this day.
He was decorated as Officer of the Order of Leopold by H.M. the King of the Belgians in 2019.
Over time, his reflection gave rise to Pointfulness and later to the Pointfulness Foundation, created to preserve a space of conversation, reflection, and research on the fundamental questions of the human condition.
Pointfulness was born neither from a doctrine nor from a promise.
It was born from an honest effort to distinguish the real from the narrative, to observe what we live and what we tell ourselves about what we live.
The Pointfulness Foundation is today the institutional expression of that work.
